PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. (BNI) continues its support in developing a digital ecosystem that is prepared to provide easier, faster, and safer services for all administrative processes and transactions in the university environment.
BNI is again a partner that supports the Independent Selection of Indonesian State Universities in the Western Region (SMM PTN-WEST) 2022. Last year there were only 17 Indonesian State Universities of Western Region, while in 2022 there will be 8 campuses so that this year there are 25 State Universities participating in the SMM West PTN 2022.
As for the new members of SMM PTN-BARAT 2022 are Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University, Pekanbaru, Batu Sangkar State Islamic Institute, West Sumatra, Tanjungpura University, West Kalimantan, North Sumatra University, North Sumatra, IPB University, West Java, Indonesian Education University , West Java, Padang State University, West Sumatra and Andalas University, West Sumatra.

BNI's Director of Institutional Relations, Sis Apik Wijayanto explained that SMM-PTN Barat 2022 is an independent selection of new student admissions that is carried out simultaneously in several Western Region State Universities that are members of the collaboration. Meanwhile, last year the total number of participants was 30,142 people who took the SMM West PTN exam and BNI received the most payments as many as 11,747 people, compared to other partner Banks.

With our function as one of the campus Banks, this year BNI is again committed to re-committing to supporting the acceptance of payment for registration for the SMM PTN Barat 2022 program which is faster, simpler and safer." he said.
Sis Apik continued that BNI is currently collaborating with various campuses to create a cashless society in the corridor through the BNI Campus Financial Ecosystem. This is done through the provision of customized digital Banking transactions by implementing closed loop transactions in the campus environment. This service can be used by the entire academic community.
Furthermore, Sis Apik conveyed that the BNI Campus Financial Ecosystem also includes services in the distribution of BNI. Flexion of education for post-graduate S2/S3 students, certified internships, Early Recruitment Program, and MSME Empowerment of University Fostered Partners through the BNI Edupreneur Program.
"The implementation of the Campus Financial Ecosystem in many universities is expected to provide complete financial services and systems and integrated digital solutions in the form of corporate support, cash management systems, consumer product services and other IT solutions," he said.
