Year of Rabbit Optimism, BNI Socializes 3 Champion Products to Customers

This attention program was attended by SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Deputy SOE Minister II Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, as well as all loyal customers and BNI Business Partners.

BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar conveyed, This Chinese New Year 2574 is the year of the Water Rabbit, which symbolizes a year of hope, patience and success. This year also signifies gentleness and calmness, as well as a period of love and restoration.

"I believe and trust that we will all face this new year with hope and optimism. Happy Chinese New Year 2574 to all those who celebrate," he said on Friday (27/1/2023).

Royke disclosed, several zodios in the year of the water rabbit will bring good luck and happiness, including dog, rabbit, rats, goat, and monkey.

"For ladies and gentlemen who are not included in the above zodios, no need to worry, because BNI can help to stay profitable and develop," he said.

Royke also continued that BNI started this year with a full year 2022 consolidated net profit of Rp 18.31 trillion, a significant growth of 68% Year-on-Year (YoY), and the highest net profit in BNI's history.

"Of course this is the result of the transformation agenda and our efforts to provide integrated digital banking solutions with the 3 Product Champion BNI Mobile Banking, BNIDirect, and BNI Xpora, BNI," he explained.
Development of 3 Product Champions

Royke continued, the development of 3 Product Champions has encouraged the strengthening of the retail and institutional transaction business while strengthening banking solutions to MSMEs Go Global.

From the retail segment, the number of BNI Mobile Banking users in 2022 reached 13.6 million, growing 26.1% YoY, followed by the number of transactions reaching 597 million or growing 37.6% YoY.

This figure shows that BNI customers continue to shift their transactions from conventional platforms to digital platforms. This is in line with BNI's strategy to make BNI Mobile Banking a One Stop Financial Solutions for customers.

From the Wholesale Banking segment, BNI has BNIDirect to support business transactions of customers and institutional debtors digitally and is able to fulfill all client needs in one integrated portal.

Throughout 2022, the number of BNIDirect users grew 24.9% YoY to 100,000 users, with the number of transactions also increasing 18.4% YoY or reaching 764 million transactions.

Through BNI Xpora, the total export credit has been able to reach Rp 26.72 trillion, up from 2021 which was recorded at IDR 19.05 trillion. Export trade volume was recorded at Rp 66.21 trillion, up from 2021 which was recorded at Rp 24.36 trillion.

"We consistently improve our digital capabilities to develop various digital financial solutions that suit customer needs," he said.
