BNI wondrX 2026 Brings Fans Closer to Badminton Legends and Stars

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) presented the PBSI Experience as part of the BNI wondrX 2026 series at ICE BSD, Tangerang. This area offers visitors the opportunity to meet Indonesian badminton legends and athletes in person while enjoying various activities and special offers.

One of the main agenda items was a meet-and-greet with Ricky Soebagdja—a 1996 Atlanta Olympics gold medalist and Secretary General of PP PBSI—as well as Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, a 2023 BWF World Championships silver medalist, and Muhammad Rian Ardianto, the 2023 and 2024 All England champion.

The event took place at the Multifunction Court, Hall 9, ICE BSD, on Saturday (8/22/2026), starting at 17:00 WIB.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that PBSI Experience is part of the collaboration between BNI and PBSI to bring national badminton closer to the public and fans.

“Through BNI wondrX 2026, we aim to create a space for the public to meet the badminton figures they admire in person, hear about their journeys, and enjoy various activities with the community. The PBSI Experience is one of the ways we bring the sport closer to the public,” said Okki in a written statement.

The Meet and Greet featured a variety of activities, ranging from sharing sessions, interactive quizzes, and group photo opportunities to autograph sessions. BNI also prepared various prizes for visitors, including TapCash cards with a balance of IDR 100,000, "wondr by BNI" tumblers, and PBSI jerseys or apparel.

The presence of the athletes offered visitors the opportunity to hear firsthand about their experiences and journeys in the world of badminton, including the process they underwent to achieve success at both national and international levels.

In addition to meeting the athletes, visitors could also visit the PBSI Store, which offered a wide range of badminton apparel and equipment from various brands, including Li-Ning, Victor, Hundred, Yonex, and Kumpoo.

During BNI wondrX 2026, visitors can enjoy an IDR 80,000 discount on transactions of at least IDR 2 million at the PBSI Store. An instant reward program is also available for transactions of at least IDR 1 million, offering PBSI merchandise—such as jerseys, rackets, jackets, track pants, and backpacks signed by PBSI national training center athletes—as well as discount vouchers.

These offers can be enjoyed using BNI Credit Cards, BNI Debit Cards, or wondr by BNI, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

According to Okki, the collaboration with PBSI is also part of BNI's efforts to build closer relationships with the sports community and badminton fans.

“Badminton holds a very special place in the hearts of the Indonesian people. Through our collaboration with PBSI, we aim to foster closer interaction among athletes, fans, and the community, while creating shared, enjoyable experiences during BNI wondrX 2026,” said Okki.

The presence of the PBSI Experience complements the diverse activities at BNI wondrX 2026, held from August 21–23, 2026, at ICE BSD, Tangerang. This event brings together financial services, lifestyle offerings, entertainment, business opportunities, and various collaborations within a single event series.

As a strategic partner of PBSI, BNI continues to support the development of national badminton—including athlete training and succession planning—to ensure Indonesia maintains its tradition of achievement on the international stage.

As part of Indonesia’s Danantara ecosystem, this support aligns with the direction of SOE transformation, which prioritizes talent development, the strengthening of human resources, and the achievement of excellence as key elements in building Indonesia's competitiveness.

This commitment also aligns with the spirit of BNI’s 80th anniversary—Swadharma Bhakti Nagara—to remain dedicated to contributing to society through various collaborations that foster an outstanding, high-achieving Indonesian generation capable of competing on the global stage.
