BNI Supported 24 Local MSMEs to Be Featured at the Mandalika MotoGP 2026

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, supported 24 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in offering a variety of culinary products at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, during the MotoGP Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026, held from October 9–11, 2026.

The presence of these MSMEs was part of BNI’s efforts to open broader market access for local business owners, while also facilitating seamless transactions during the international motorcycle racing event.

One of the participating MSMEs was Kepiting Mbak Lily, owned by Lili Herawati. This culinary business offered a variety of seafood dishes, including crab, shrimp meatballs, and squid. During the Mandalika MotoGP 2026, Lili used BNI’s EDC machines and QRIS to process customer transactions.

Lili said she was happy to be able to participate in the event because it gave her the opportunity to introduce her products to visitors from various regions, including international tourists.

“We’re so happy to have the opportunity to showcase our menu at the MotoGP event. We hope our products will become even better known, even internationally,” said Lili.

She also found BNI’s payment services easy to use in supporting her business activities during the event.

“BNI is a great help, especially for digital transactions. Applying for an EDC terminal and QRIS is easy, and they are practical to use,” she said.

Lili’s experience was an illustration of how the participation of MSMEs in international-scale events can create opportunities to expand their market while simultaneously introducing local products to a wider consumer base.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that BNI continues to strengthen its support for MSMEs through access to banking services, the digitization of transactions, and involvement in various activities that can create business opportunities.

“BNI remains committed to being the preferred and trusted transaction partner for business owners—including MSMEs—by providing simple, practical payment solutions and support that creates opportunities for business growth. We hope that the involvement of MSMEs in events like the Mandalika MotoGP will help local products gain greater recognition and reach a wider market,” said Okki in a written statement.

According to Okki, the use of EDC and QRIS also helped MSMEs handle transactions more conveniently, given the high level of visitor activity during the Mandalika MotoGP event.

Throughout its eight decades of serving Indonesia, BNI has continued to strengthen its support for MSMEs by expanding access to banking services, digitizing transactions, and providing opportunities for promotion and marketing at various large-scale events.

Through this support, BNI hopes that more local business owners will be able to expand their market reach, increase their business capacity, and grow alongside the development of the regional economy.
