“FINANCIAL SOLUTION BNI UNTUK DIASPORA”

Jakarta, 11 Oktober 2016 . Dukungan dan komitmen PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk kepada Diaspora Indonesia terus berlanjut, setelah mendukung acara Kongres Diaspora Indonesia II pada Agustus 2013 lalu, BNI kembali mensukseskan terselenggaranya Indonesian Diaspora Business Forum (IDBF) pada 10 Oktober 2016 di Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel Jakarta.

Kegiatan IDBF yang bertajuk "Connecting Opportunities Toward Shared Prosperity" ini mencakup kegiatan exhibition - talkshow dan business matching dengan peserta UMKM, pemerintah dan perbankan (BNI). Acara ini juga dihadiri oleh chairman Indonesian Diaspora Network (IDN) Dino Patti Djalal, president IDN Ebed Litaay, Deputy BKPM Farah Indriani, Staff Ahli  Kementerian Luar Negeri Niniek Kun Naryatie, president HIPPI-UMKM Suryani Motik, serta perwakilan diaspora indonesia yang sukses menjalankan bisnis di mancanegara, diantaranya Mahdi Musa (Qatar), Iwan Sunito (Australia) dan Fify Manan (USA).

Pada kesempatan kali ini, Rahmad Hidayat, GM Divisi Internasional memaparkan bisnis perbankan, jaringan global serta bagaimana peran strategis BNI dalam membantu nasabahnya, baik corporate dan perorangan di seluruh dunia. Pertanyaan terlontar dari moderator talkshow yaitu Bapak Dino Patti Djalal "Kebutuhan diaspora di Amerika salah satunya adalah mengirimkan uang yang cepat dan murah. Apakah BNI bisa memfasilitasi itu?", Rahmad dengan mantap menjawab " Dengan teknologi host to host, sistem kiriman uang dari BNI tidak kalah dengan pesaingnya, saat ini BNI terus melakukan perluasan jaringan di Amerika untuk memudahkan diaspora dalam melakukan pengiriman uang".

Dalam forum ini, BNI telah melakukan penjajakan awal untuk memberikan one stop financial solution untuk Diaspora Indonesia. Melalui jaringan global yang dimiliki oleh BNI, yaitu 7 kantor cabang di Singapura, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, London dan New York, 1 representative office di Myanmar, 11 Remittance Representative Officer di negara tujuan TKI, serta 1.600 jaringan bank koresponden di dunia, BNI diharapkan dapat merangkul diaspora indonesia.
One stop financial solution yang dimaksud adalah open account, debit diaspora card, remittance, investment product, consumer loan serta e-commerce untuk menjembatani bisnis UMKM lokal dengan diaspora di seluruh dunia.

Sesuai dengan semangat BNI untuk menjembatani Indonesia dan dunia serta sebaliknya (BNI Bridging Indonesia and The World), BNI berkomitmen untuk selalu menjadi lifetime banking partner,  baik untuk nasabah di dalam negeri maupun di seluruh dunia.

Jakarta, 11 October 2016 - Support and commitment of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk to Diaspora Indonesia continues, after BNI lent its support to Congress Diaspora Indonesia II in August 2013, and once again for Indonesian Diaspora Business Forum (IDBF) on October 10, 2016 at Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta.

IDBF forum entitled "Connecting Opportunities Toward Shared Prosperity" included exhibition - talk show and business matching with SME, government, and banking (BNI) participant. Diaspora Indonesia Network (IDN) Chairman Dino Patti Djalal, IDN President Ebed Litaay, BKPM Deputy Farah Indriani, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Expert Staff Niniek Kun Naryatie, HIPPI-UMKM President Suryani Motik, as well as successful businesspeople and representatives of Diaspora Indonesia abroad, including Mahdi Musa (Qatar), Iwan Sunito (Australia), and Fify Manan (USA) attended the event.

At the occasion, International Division GM Rahmat Hidayat explained banking business, global network, and BNI’s strategic role in helping customers, both corporations and individuals, worldwide. Dino Patti Djalal presented a question: "One of the most urgent needs of diaspora living in America is to send money quickly and affordably. Can BNI facilitate this?" Rahmat firmly answered, "With host-to-host technology, BNI remittance system is ahead from its competitors. BNI is currently expanding its network in the United States to facilitate the diaspora in money transfers.”

BNI conducted an initial assessment to provide a one-stop financial solution for Diaspora Indonesia at the forum. Through a global network owned by BNI, including seven branches in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, London, and New York, one representative office in Myanmar, 11 Remittance Representative Officers in migrant workers country destinations, as well as 1,600 correspondent bank network in the world, BNI aims to embrace the Indonesian diaspora.

The one-stop financial solutions in question are account opening, diaspora debit card, remittances, investment products, consumer loans, as well as e-commerce business to bridge local SMEs with diaspora around the world.

In keeping with the spirit of BNI to bridge Indonesia with the world and vice versa (BNI Bridging Indonesia and The World), BNI is committed to be a lifetime banking partner, both for customers in the country and around the world.
