Individual Company Application Launched, Payment Via BNI

Jakarta, 9 October 2021 -- The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) appointed PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) to be one of the partner banks in implementing the Individual Company application. The individual company application from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights makes it easier for business actors to register, change, and submit financial reports.

The application was launched in Badung, Bali on Friday (8 October 2021). Present at the launch were the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna H. Laoly along with the ranks of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, and the Director of Treasury and International of BNI, Henry Panjaitan.

Yasonna H. Laoly said, the Individual Company application is expected to be a symbol of the rise of Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) in Indonesia towards MSEs that are highly competitive and world class. The application is designed to be user friendly so that business people from all walks of life can use it without requiring the help of others.

"As part of the government, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is also trying to help the business sector, especially MSEs, through the presence of a new legal entity, namely an individual company which is a breakthrough and the first in the world," said Yasonna.

Through this individual company application, UMK actors can have a business entity that is a legal entity with only 3 (three) steps, namely creating a personal account, filling in the registration form and printing proof of registration. In addition, the Individual Company application is also connected to the Online Single Submission (OSS) system so that business actors can immediately continue the licensing process until they get a Business Identification Number (NIB).

Through the various facilities provided in the establishment of an individual company legal entity, MSE actors and the millennial generation are expected to change their mindset and be more confident to become business actors so that they can open up more job opportunities to help the national economy recover after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Henry Panjaitan also conveyed that BNI fully supports the launch of the Individual Company application by providing easy registration payments through various BNI e-channels. In addition, BNI always encourages new entrepreneurs to continue to improve their capabilities, including in terms of digitalization to expand their business to foreign countries.

"BNI also has Xpora which is a one stop solution that allows MSME players to Go Productive, Go Digital, and Go Global. Xpora will take advantage of the existence of BNI Foreign Branch Office (KCLN) to bring together Indonesian MSME actors with potential buyers abroad," said Henry.
