Indonesia Won Two Titles at Indonesia Masters 2023

Jakarta, Sunday (29/1/2023) -- The battle of the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2023 has come to an end with Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo claiming the title of champion and runner-up in the men's singles final.

Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin also managed to add to the record of world achievement in this prestigious event by overthrowing He Ji Ting / Zhou Hao Dong from China.
Jonatan Christie, who is familiarly called Jojo, can't stop expressing his gratitude for the brilliant results at this year's Indonesia Masters.

"This achievement is certainly something to be very proud of. Moreover, Chico and I brought home the champion and runner-up medals at once. Thanks to the coaches, the whole team, supporters, and also BNI sponsors who are always loyal to accompany our journey to the top of the world. Of course we will continue to fight to make Indonesia proud," he said on Sunday (28/1/2023).

Leo/Daniel also said that today was a proud day because they were able to prove the toughness of the Indonesian badminton team to the world.

"We dedicate this championship title to Indonesia. We always evaluate the match. This victory is the result of hard work and never-ending prayers from the coach, team, supporters, and also BNI sponsors. We thank you very much for all your support," he added.
