BNI again encourages the acceleration of the use of Battery-Based Electric Vehicles (BBEV) in Indonesia by building a Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (PEVCS) in the Crea Nusa Dua area, Badung - Bali. The PEVCS was inaugurated in conjunction with a new BNI outlet that comes with a new face carrying the concept of a digital outlet and thematic iconic tourism format.
Previously, with the support of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) or PLN, BNI became a pioneer in the banking industry as a financial institution operating two PEVCS partnership schemes. Both have been operating in Jakarta.
This is a follow-up to the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (CA) between BNI and PLN on 26 April 2022 related to the Provision of PEVCS Infrastructure in the BNI Area.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by PLN Distribution Director Adi Priyanto, BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar, BNI Consumer Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies, BNI Network and Services Director Ronny Venir, and BNI SEVP Digital Business Rian Kaslan as well as officials of related institutions, in Bali, Friday (4/11/2022).
Royke said, BNI as an agent of development and agent of services has a social responsibility to jointly synergize with the Governments of Bali Province and Badung Regency in rebuilding the economy in Bali area.
Moreover, this strategic step also aims to build the Nusa Dua area which is welcoming the G20 Summit which will be held in Bali on 15-16 November 2022.
"For this reason, BNI Digital Channel - Crea Nusa Dua Sub-Branch Office as a breakthrough thematic outlet comes with a new face with digital character and concept to continue to provide service excellence, support the smooth running of community economic activities, realize sustainable development to support government programs in economic recovery and is equipped with various digital devices provided such as DigiCS, Sprint and cash deposit withdrawal machines (CRM) to facilitate community banking transaction activities," said Royke.
With the inauguration of BNI Digital Channel - Crea Nusa Dua Sub-Branch Office, Royke continued, the company will certainly present a new spirit to improve the quality of service to the community.
"The presence of these digital outlets can strengthen the joints of the economy to be more qualified and competitive, especially to encourage MSME activities through the distribution of business capital loans," he added.
