Bonds and FX Transactions Can Now Be Done Through BNI Bonds and FX Mobile

Jakarta, Thursday (2/3/2023) -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI continues to develop an online transaction system through the addition of features to BNI Mobile Banking, namely Bonds and FX Mobile.

Bonds can be utilized to distribute bond prices in real time and a means of conducting bond transaction deals in the secondary market with customers.

The launch of this latest feature was carried out directly by BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar and BNI Treasury Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan. BNI Consumer Banking Director Corina Leyla Karnalies, BNI Corporate & International Banking Director Silvano Rumantir, BNI Network & Services Director Ronny Venir, BNI SEVP Digital Business Rian Kaslan, and SEVP Treasury Ms. Ita Tetralastwati also witnessed the launch of this digital product.

Royke said that the launch of this product is in line with the company's vision to become a transactional banking that is able to fulfill various customer needs including buying and selling bonds through digital solutions. "This is a breakthrough that we make to always provide added value for our customers through BNI Mobile Banking. Now, digitized bond buying and selling transactions can be done through BNI Mobile Banking, so that the transactions are stable and reliable," he said.

Furthermore, Putrama said that another advantage in the Bonds feature is being able to see competitive bond price information in accordance with the latest market so as to fulfill the needs of alternative investment facilities for customers. "Bonds have passed IT Testing, Compliance Testing and have received permission from OJK and BI," he said.

In addition, Putrama said, there is an FX Mobile feature in the BNI Mobile Banking application that customers can use to get real-time and competitive exchange rate information and conduct foreign exchange transactions between BNI accounts."We can monitor exchange rate information, buy and sell forex, transfer forex between BNI accounts, and check transaction history," he said.

Putrama added, through the FX Mobile feature, the latest foreign exchange rate information in real time follows market movements with the exchange rate prices displayed competitively according to the latest market prices.
"Transactions can be made for various currency pairs. Customers can also view transaction history on the transaction history sub menu," he concluded. (*)
