PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI again won the highest title “The Best Overall in Corporate Governance” in the 15th IICD Corporate Governance Conference & Award 2024 in the category of Public Companies with the Largest Market Capitalization (Big Cap Public Listed Company), after previously in 2023 BNI received the same award. The 15th IICD Corporate Governance Conference and Award itself is an annual event giving appreciation to public companies with the best GCG practices.

“We would like to thank IICD for entrusting us to again hold the title of 'The Best Overall in Corporate Governance', this award is an encouragement for BNI to continue to improve the quality of best governance practices,” Okki said in his official statement.

The assessment was carried out on 200 issuers based on the largest market capitalization (Big Cap) and medium (Mid Cap) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange based on the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard 2023 assessment method.

Okki firmly stated that good GCG implementation is an important aspect to give investors the confidence to invest. The consistent and sustainable implementation of GCG principles is considered capable of having a positive impact on value creation and BNI's business sustainability.

BNI remains dedicated to continually applying sustainability and GCG concepts in the future. "The company's performance and credibility will be enhanced by consistent application of GCG and sustainability," he continued.
