PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI won two awards at the Corporate Treasurer Awards 2024 for the best performance in providing superior treasury and international banking products for customers. The two awards included Best for Asset/Liquidity Solutions and Best Bank for Payment Solution.
The award was presented by an independent publication dedicated to the leaders of financial services and banking institutions in the Asian region, Corporate Treasurer.
Present at the award presentation were Wholesale Digital Channel Division Leader Efransyah Mudani, Hong Kong Foreign Office Leader Farid Faraitody Sumarsono, and BNI Remittance Director Indra Kusuma. The event was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Hong Kong on Tuesday (3/12/2024).
BNI Director of Digital and Integrated Transaction Banking, Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena in his official statement said, the award was a form of recognition of BNI's excellent performance and service quality in the global arena. During the judging period, BNI has successfully proven itself to maintain a strong and superior liquidity ratio compared to other banks.
According to Paolo, this positive performance was also supported by various digital channels offered by BNI such as BNIdirect, API Services, Virtual Accounts, Online Bank Guarantees, and Financial Supply Chain Management.
“Since its launch in 2018, BNI API has experienced significant growth in digital payment transactions. BNI's commitment is very real in improving digital payment services, optimal service experience by ensuring real-time transactions and minimal obstacles, as well as innovating according to market developments and needs,” Paolo explained.
BNI API successfully integrated over 250 customers this year, representing a 30% increase over the previous year. This rise happened as a result of the BNI API's simplicity of use via BNI API Digital Services, so as to complete the integration process within 2 weeks.
“The success of winning this award cannot be separated from the innovations made by BNI as a Global Bank by following a competitive and customer-oriented market,” concluded Paolo.
