PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI received the State-Owned Enterprise Informative Qualification Award at the Public Information Disclosure Award Night 2024 held by the Central Information Commission (KIP) on Tuesday (17/12/2024) night. The event was attended by ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Heads of Institutions, Regional Heads, and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).
BNI received this award after going through a number of long stages which included Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev), starting from filling out the Self Questionnaire Assessment (SAQ), followed by the public test presentation stage, to the implementation of a deepening verification visitation of the e-monev questionnaire assessment and public test results.
In the Public Information Disclosure Award 2024, BNI achieved a score of 96.06 for the SOE category. The award was given directly by the Commissioner of the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia Hando Agung Saputro and received by BNI Director of Human Capital and Compliance, Mucharom.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, this year's achievement is a manifestation of BNI's consistency in providing easy access by building facilities for digital information service needs and consistently building awareness. It is starting with the website, SOP development, financial literacy, empowerment of Agent46 as an information disseminator, integration of service features, to offline service updates.
Okki continued, the Public Information Disclosure Award is a very important award for the efforts to create a climate and corporate governance that is transparent, effective, efficient, and also accountable, in line with the government's target of realizing Indonesia 2045 with healthy democratic principles.
“This award is a form of appreciation to BNI as a public agency that consistently implements public information disclosure and provides quality, transparent and accountable public information services,” Okki said in his official statement.
In the future, Okki added, public information disclosure will continue to be BNI's focus to develop and improve operational standards for information disclosure within BNI as a guideline for public information disclosure service standards, as well as carry out its compliance with the Public Information Disclosure Law.
“BNI continues to be committed to improving the quality of service to customers and the public by optimizing various communication channels. In the process, BNI always prioritizes transparency and accountability in the delivery of information to the public as part of the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG),” he added.
