Creating New History, BNI Appreciates Indonesia's Victory at the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship 2025 Event

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI expressed its highest appreciation to young Indonesian athletes who won the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025 in Qingdao, China.

The Indonesian team won 3-1 against China in the final round held on Sunday (16/2/2025).  The pair Rinov Rivaldy and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti opened the scoring in the first match with a 2-set win.

In the final round, Alwi Farhan added Indonesia's lead to 2-0 after defeating Hu Zhe An in 2 straight sets. Indonesia's victory was delayed by the defeat of Putri Kusuma Wardani in the third match.

However, M.Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin managed to contribute the winning points for Indonesia with 2 straight sets and ensured Indonesia won 3-1 against China.

Young Indonesian Badminton athletes have made history since the competition was first held in 2017.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, this extraordinary achievement is clear evidence of the unyielding spirit, hard work, and high dedication of Indonesian badminton athletes who should be proud of.

“BNI as the main sponsor of PBSI congratulates and thanks for the persistence of young Indonesian Badminton athletes to achieve the achievement of 1st place in the final of Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025,” said Okki.

Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships 2025, which was held from February 11 to February 16, 2025, is an annual event followed by badminton athletes from 12 Asian countries.

“We will continue to provide support for the advancement of Indonesian Sports, especially Badminton, which is able to make achievements at the world level,” Okki concluded.
