PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI signed a Supply Chain Financing (SCF) Cooperation Agreement with APP Group, as part of its efforts to support the business sector and strengthen the relationship between financial institutions and customers.
The signing ceremony of this cooperation agreement was carried out by the Head of Corporate Banking Division 1 Andrean Palonggam with APP Group Director Arman Dwiartono who was witnessed directly by BNI Director of Enterprise and Commercial Banking I Made Sukajaya, BNI Director of Digital Integrated Transaction Banking Hussein Paolo Kartadjoemena and SEVP Corporate Banking Pancaran Affendi at Grha BNI Sudirman, Tuesday (18/02/2025).
This agreement aims to provide easy access to financing to debtors, especially those involved in the supply chain.
Through the SCF scheme, banks can assist companies in obtaining the funding needed to streamline production and distribution processes, by providing faster and more efficient working capital.
“BNI as one of the pioneers of Supply Chain Financing offers several flexible financing schemes, including Supplier Financing which is an invoice financing facility for corporate partners in one supply chain as sellers/suppliers so that the seller's accounts receivable bill can be paid by the buyer faster,” said BNI Director of Enterprise and Commercial Banking I Made Sukajaya.
BNI's SCF scheme offers various benefits, including ease and security in document transactions, certainty of receiving faster invoice payments, easy invoice reconciliation, real-time transaction monitoring, varied invoice payment options, and seamless integration with corporate systems or corporate partners.
“The cooperation between APP Group and BNI is also a tangible form of BNI's commitment to continue to transform and innovate in providing financial solutions that not only aim to improve business efficiency, but also to create broader positive impacts, such as reducing payment risks, increasing competitiveness, and strengthening relationships between companies and business partners. We see this as an effort to encourage a more sustainable economic recovery, with due regard to the prudent principle of risk management,” he said.
APP Group Director Arman Dwiartono welcomed the cooperation in utilizing BNI SCF.
He hopes that this easy access to financing can increase productivity and open up more opportunities to increase the business of APP Group partners.
The signing of this agreement is proof of the commitment of banks and debtors in facing increasingly complex economic challenges.
With the SCF facility, it is expected to create a stronger relationship between financial institutions and business actors, as well as to create a more inclusive and sustainable business ecosystem.
