(03/10/2025) - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, is strengthening its support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by holding artificial intelligence (AI) training at the BNI BUMN House in Belu, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This program aims to help businesses advance through more effective and efficient digital technology applications.
The workshop, titled '17 AI Strategies to Help MSMEs Increase Turnover by Billions,' was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and was attended by 31 participants in a hybrid format.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said this activity is part of BNI's steps in the Eastern Indonesia region to increase the capacity of MSMEs in the digital sector.
"This training is one of BNI's initiatives in Eastern Indonesia to improve the digital competency of Belu's MSMEs. Through this program, business owners are encouraged to utilize various tools and advanced AI to make daily tasks easier using only a smartphone," Okki said in a written statement.
During the training session, participants received guidance from Internet Marketing Practitioner Iqrok Wahyu Perdana on how to leverage AI for business needs. The material covered techniques for editing product photos to make them more appealing, creating promotional videos, and developing marketing content or copywriting using the ChatGPT and Google Gemini applications.
Additionally, participants were introduced to intelligent marketing strategies and data-driven analysis that can support more informed business decision-making. It is hoped that these skills will help MSMEs improve operational efficiency and productivity, while expanding their market reach.
According to Okki, strengthening communication capacity and utilizing technology will remain BNI's ongoing programs to support MSMEs. "With training like this, we hope MSME actors can gain new skills and knowledge that will be useful for developing their businesses through the use of AI technology," he emphasized.
Through this step, BNI seeks to encourage MSMEs to not only survive but also be able to compete and level up a class amidst the increasingly rapid digital transformation.
