PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has again received international recognition for its consistent human resource development through BNI Corporate University. The company won two prestigious international awards, confirming the quality of its learning strategies and the ongoing development of employee capabilities.
The first award was received at the International Customer Experience Awards (ICXA) 2025 held at Park Plaza London Riverbank, England. BNI Corporate University won the Gold Award Winner in the Best Learning and Development – Over 5,000 Employees category.
BNI Human Capital & Compliance Director Munadi Herlambang said the award reflects the success of BNI's strategic transformation in developing the company's human resources capabilities.
"BNI places learning as an integral part of business growth, by making employees the center of development and leaders as coaches in the learning process," said Munadi in a written statement.
ICXA is an international event that recognizes organizations with the best practices in customer experience management, including learning and development strategies that have a direct impact on productivity and performance.
The judges' assessment recognized BNI's excellence through its implementation of a Personalized Learning Journey, which aligns the learning process with organizational needs and performance improvement. This approach is built around three main pillars: Run the Bank, Change the Bank, and Transform the Bank, encompassing operational strengthening, innovation, and leadership development.
Furthermore, BNI Corporate University is considered successful in building a culture of continuous learning through various digital initiatives, such as microlearning, the BNI CorpU TV YouTube channel, webinars, and the Learning Festival. These programs have reached more than 44,000 BNI employees at home and abroad.
Previously, BNI Corporate University also won Gold in the Branding & Durability category at the Global Corporate University Awards 2025 held in Paris, France. BNI outperformed Choice University (United States) and The Oberoi Group (India).
The panel of judges assessed that BNI Corporate University has succeeded in building a strong learning identity that is integrated with the organization's strategy through the slogan 'Learn, Grow, Lead', as well as the consistent use of various internal and external communication channels.
"This award reinforces the belief that structured and adaptive human resource development is the main foundation of BNI's competitiveness amidst industrial dynamics and digital transformation," said Munadi.
This achievement confirms BNI's position as a national financial institution that not only focuses on business performance, but also invests sustainably in talent development to support long-term growth and global competitiveness.
