PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI ensures that banking services will remain available on a limited basis during the national holiday and joint leave period for the Chinese New Year of Kongzili on February 16, 2026. This step is taken to maintain the smooth running of strategic transactions, especially those related to national energy distribution and the community's basic banking needs.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the limited operations are a manifestation of the company's commitment to ensuring vital services continue to operate during the holiday.
"BNI ensures that limited operations will continue to guarantee the smooth running of essential transactions for the public, especially those related to energy services and basic banking needs during the holiday period," Okki said in a written statement.
On that date, designated branch offices will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time. During this limited operation, BNI will prioritize Pertamina fuel payment services through Pertamina Host-to-Host (H2H) POBS system, as well as cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account openings through wondr by BNI app.
A total of 16 outlets were designated to remain operational on a limited basis and were strategically selected in various regions to ensure smooth operations and energy distribution during the holiday period.
In the Sumatra region, services are available at KC Sutomo, KC Batam, KC Pekanbaru, KC Padang, and KCP Palima. Meanwhile, in Java Island, operations are conducted by KC Karawang, KC UNDIP, KC Graha Pangeran Surabaya, KC Lamongan, KC Malang, and KC Mojokerto.
For the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions, limited services are provided through KCP Gajah Mada and KCP Sandubaya. In the Sulawesi region, operations are carried out by KC Kanaka and KCP Arief Rate. Meanwhile, in Papua, services remain available through KCP Percetakan.
In addition to physical services, BNI also optimizes digital channels so that customers can continue to transact easily. E-channel services such as wondr by BNI, BNIdirect, ATM, SMS Banking, and Internet Banking continue to operate 24 hours during the holiday period.
