Visitor enthusiasm marked the BNI wondrX 2026 event at ICE BSD, Tangerang. Among the attendees was Varen (28), who traveled from Cibubur to hunt for deals and successfully secured the shoes he had his eye on, benefiting from a 20% merchant discount plus an additional discount of up to 20% by using a BNI card.
BNI wondrX 2026 took place on 21–23 August 2026 at Hall 5–10 ICE BSD and presented various offers for shopping, travel, culinary, property, automotive and financial service needs.
Varen said he had scoured the entire event area in search of various promotions. In addition to shopping for shoes, he also hunted for travel deals, though he was unable to secure round-trip Jakarta–Denpasar tickets starting at IDR1.58 million because the quota had run out.
“Honestly, I was shopping for shoes; the promotion was really good—a 20% discount, plus an additional discount of up to 20% using BNI. I also happened to be looking for travel discounts of up to IDR 8 million. I didn't arrive early enough today, though, so I missed out on the IDR 1.5 million round-trip ticket deal for Jakarta-Bali,” said Varen when met at the venue.
According to Varen, the various offered at wondrX 2026 were truly enjoyable for visitors and were not merely promotional material.
“It was fun and enjoyable. It turned out the discounts were genuinely huge—I thought it was just a gimmick. I’ll definitely come back if this event happens again next year; hopefully, the discounts will be even bigger,” he said.
Nasya, Balqis, Peter, and Matthew—who traveled from Jakarta after learning about wondrX 2026 via social media—shared a similar experience.
They visited several areas, particularly the food and beverage outlets. Balqis said she was drawn to the wide range of culinary options and the available promotions. "There are lots of promos—you can get bread for just IDR8,000," Balqis said.
According to her, the vast size of the event area gave visitors plenty of options to explore the vendors and activities.
“Maybe the place was really big, so it’s like we could explore everything. Plus, the food was interesting, and there were a lot of new items,” she said.
Peter felt that the layout of the area contributed to visitor comfort while walking around. "Aside from the tenants and the layout, it’s also cool, so it’s just comfortable to walk around," he said.
Meanwhile, Nasya expressed interest in the design of the wondrX 2026 area. "I like the interior design—all the orange elements. The LED lighting, for instance, was really cool," she said.
BNI was offering various promotions during wondrX 2026. In the property sector, visitors could take advantage of the BNI Griya mortgage program, featuring interest rates starting from 1% per annum (effective). For the automotive sector, the BNI OTO vehicle loan was available with rates starting from 0% per annum (flat), along with a one-year waiver on flood and riot insurance premiums.
In the travel section, BNI offered flash sales on round-trip tickets—starting at IDR 1.58 million for Jakarta–Denpasar and IDR 1.8 million for Jakarta–Kuala Lumpur—along with cashback of up to IDR 8 million. Meanwhile, transactions in the retail and lifestyle areas offered cashback of up to IDR 2.28 million.
BNI has also prepared a program for non-customers, offering rewards of up to IDR 8 million for opening a savings account. For new BNI Emerald customers, a welcome reward of up to IDR 17 million was available, along with various special offered at selected merchants.
In addition to promotions, wondrX 2026 featured a variety of activities, ranging from financial and housing talk shows to the VISA Music Passion event with RAN.
BNI also introduced a number of new products and services, including wondrZ for children and teenagers, the BNI BookCabin Debit Card, the BNI daily+ Credit Card, as well as the latest features for BNIdirect Business and wondr Merchant.
