At BI Award 2019, BNI the Best Bank Participant in Bank Indonesia Payment System, Wins Best RTGS and SSSS, SKNBI and KPDHN Participant Award

Jakarta, 28 November 2019 --- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is one of the national banks that is considered by Bank Indonesia (BI) to be able to continue to maintain commitment in providing excellent service and value-added solutions for all customers and first choice partners. In order to maintain that commitment, BNI consistently continues to make continuous improvements both in aspects of Performance, Compliance, and Corporate Governance.

This commitment paid off when BI awarded the BI Award in Jakarta on Thursday (November 28, 2019). The award was delivered directly by the Governor of Bank Indonesia, Perry Warjiyo to the Information Technology and Operations Director of BNI, Dadang Setiabudi, the Risk Management Director of BNI, Rico Budidarmo and the International Business & Treasury Director of BNI, Bob Tyasika Ananta, at the Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting (PTBI). BNI won awards for the BI RTGS and BI SSSS System Participant Categories. This award has been held by BNI for three consecutive years.

Not only that. BNI was also selected as Participant of the Bank Indonesia National Clearing System (SKNBI) and the Best National Black List Management Office (KPDHN) in 2019 for the category Book 3 and 4 Bank group, out of a total of 32 Banks assessed based on 3 (three) aspects, namely Performance, Compliance, and Governance.

"With the acceptance of the Bank Indonesia Award, we hope that we will continue to increase customer confidence in BNI which is certainly in line with the Company's vision of becoming an Excellent Financial Institution in Services and Performance," said Dadang Setiabudi.

Funds transfer service through BI-RTGS is an electronic fund transfer service between participants in rupiah currency, the settlement of which is carried out instantaneously per transaction individually. Whereas the fund transfer service through SKNBI is a Bank Indonesia clearing system which includes Funds Transfer and Scheduled Clearing services, the final settlement of which is done nationally.

Fund transfer services through BI-RTGS and SKNBI BNI can be enjoyed by customers throughout Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke, which are spread out at 2,230 BNI outlets. As of October 2019, RTGS transaction volume reached Rp 8,156 trillion. Meanwhile, the clearing transaction volume reached IDR 498 trillion.
