BNI provides KUR to Pre-Employment Alumni

Jakarta, 8 April 2021 -- Creating new entrepreneurs is Indonesia's hope to rise after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The number of workers who are now affected by layoffs (PHK), housewives who want to open business, to MSMEs affected by Covid-19 who are interested in developing new businesses make PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) here to provide the best solutions in supporting new entrepreneurial Pre-Employment Alumni.  

With a fast, easy, and inexpensive digital process, it is hoped that KUR Prakerja BNI will be a solution to capital problems that have been a scourge for new entrepreneurs.  As a form of commitment in supporting graduation of the Pre-Employment Alumni Program, BNI in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia presents Pre-Employment People's Business Credit (KUR) financing which can be accessed by Pre-Employment Alumni. On this occasion, BNI and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia also held a Socialization on Access to KUR Prakerja BNI for Pre-Employment Alumni which was held at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta on Thursday, 8 April 2021. Present at the event were the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Airlangga Hartarto, and BNI’s Institutional Relations Director, Sis Apik Wijayanto.

Sis Apik said, in supporting easy access to capital for Pre-Employment Alumni who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs, BNI presents BNIMove Digital Application (BNI Mobile Innovation for SME Ecosystem) which simplifies the submission process to the approval of KUR Prakerja BNI. With BNIMove, prospective debtors no longer need to come to BNI branch office to apply for credit so that the credit process can be faster and easier.

"The ease of accessing KUR that we provide for pre-employment alumni is a manifestation of BNI's role as a state-owned bank and agent of development. It is hoped that the pre-employment alumni who become entrepreneurs can access capital from BNI quickly, easily and cheaply," said Sis Apik. On the same occasion, the Head of Small Business Division 2 BNI, Bambang Setyatmojo, explained that KUR Pre-Employment program that can be accessed digitally is BNI's innovation in accelerating KUR distribution in 2021.  On the other hand, this program is also an opportunity for Pre-Employment Alumni entrepreneurs to increase their capabilities and business scale.
"Not only access to capital, entrepreneurs will also get access and information on banking services. BNI is also committed to providing various forms of assistance through collaboration with e-commerce partners, academics, and other institutions to be able to assist entrepreneurs in their business processes, including providing easy market access," Bambang emphasized.

On this occasion, the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) to Pre-Employment alumni was also carried out, this KUR added to the BNI KUR distribution portfolio in 2021, where up to 31 March 31 2021, KUR distributed by BNI reached Rp. 7.1 Trillion which touched 72 thousand KUR recipients spread throughout Indonesia.
