BNI Digitizes Customs, Excise and National Logistics Ecosystem Services

Jakarta, 11 October 2021 -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) provides banking services to support the implementation of customs digitization at the Directorate General (Dirjen) of Customs and Excise. This service also supports the implementation of the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE).

Now the Director General of Customs and Excise can take advantage of BNI banking services to facilitate electronic payment transactions for state revenues related to customs and excise. This cooperation is stated in the form of signing a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) related to the exchange of billing data. This will make it easier for exporters and importers to make multiple billing payments directly, where previously bill payments were made one by one.

BNI and the Director General of Customs and Excise also signed the NLE Cooperation Agreement. Through this agreement, BNI officially becomes an NLE partner bank in providing payment gateways for all NLE service users. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Virtual Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between BNI’s President Director, Royke Tumilaar and the Director General of Customs and Excise, Askolani in Jakarta on Monday, 11 October 2021.

Royke Tumilaar said, through the signing of these two Cooperation Agreements, BNI is committed to supporting government programs in improving Customs, Excise and National Logistics Ecosystem services through simplification and digitization of payments. "Through cooperation on electronic payment of state revenue transactions related to customs and excise, the public can enjoy services in the form of bulk payment transactions or multiple billing payments without having to input billing one by one. So that the business process carried out by depositors becomes more effective and efficient, ' said Royke.

Royke also said, as for supporting the National Logistics Ecosystem, BNI has prepared a payment and financing system in the ecosystem, so that it can provide solutions to the needs of banking products that include electronic payments, supply chain financing, and other banking products and services. 

"BNI plays an active role in serving people who make customs and excise deposits through the State Revenue Module. In making payments, people can use BNI Internet Banking channels, both Corporate and Personal, Branch Tellers, ATMs & Mini ATMs," said Royke.

Considering that the Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet, to ensure that the implementation of health protocols is carried out in a disciplined manner, BNI actively encourages customers to use Corporate Internet Banking in financial transactions, especially Customs, Excise & National Logistics Ecosystem Receipts. This is also in line with the go green movement because Proof of State Revenue and other Proof of Transactions will be submitted to depositors via email.

The various facilities offered by BNI in Corporate Internet Banking services are not only provided to Ministries/Agencies but can also be used by private parties who want to experience the convenience of depositing State Revenue through BNI.
On the same occasion, BNI also held a Sharing Session with the topic of MSME Go Global. BNI presents Xpora which is a one stop solution hub that makes it easier for MSME actors to be able to sell their products abroad. Through Xpora, BNI will bring together export-oriented MSME players with potential buyers abroad.
