Jakarta, 21 October 2021 -- As a bank that is familiar with campus environment and student friendly, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) continues to develop its services to the academic community. This time, BNI provides complete services for the university it has served since 1963, namely Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) Bandung.
In line with the increasingly diverse needs of the UNPAD academic community, BNI and UNPAD kicked off the Campus Financial Ecosystem by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education & Provision of Banking Services on Thursday, 21 October 2021.
This MoU is stated in the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) which includes Collaboration for Masters and Doctoral Education Flexion, Cooperation in Issuing UNPAD Alumni Association Cards, Cooperation in the Use of e-Collection, and Cooperation for Affinity Cards.
In addition to the above cooperation agreement, BNI has also prepared a Digital Entrepreneur program to support MSMEs assisted by UNPAD through the BNI Edu Preneur program. On this occasion, UNPAD Chancellor, Rina Indiastuti said that in addition to encouraging a hybrid university transformation, this Tri Dharma MoU will bring UNPAD to the digitalization area with financial services and systems developed by BNI. BNI provides integrated digital solutions in order to provide efficiency and effectiveness in managing activities at UNPAD in the form of Corporate Support, Consumer Product Services, Cash Management Systems, and other IT solutions.
Continuing, BNI's Director of Institutional Relations, Sis Apik Wijayanto explained that the company has an educational ecosystem that is quite complete to accommodate the needs of students, lecturers, employees, alumni, vendors, to the development of startups/MSMEs fostered by the university and includes increasingly advanced corporate transactional solutions for the needs of UNPAD.
“Of course, some of the Education Ecosystem solutions have been used by UNPAD. To improve BNI's services to UNPAD, we will complete this collaboration by renewing the MoU regarding the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and banking service providers," said Sis Apik.
Sis Apik said that BNI will always strive to improve its services and develop more advanced transactional solutions to meet customer transactional needs. "Especially for UNPAD, which is in dire need of transactional solutions to facilitate the process of financial reconciliation, monitoring of incoming and outgoing funds, budget distribution, and other advance transactions in UNPAD's financial management," he explained.
Previously, BNI has also collaborated with UNPAD regarding Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS), Cash Management System (CMS), Assistance for Making Podcast Rooms at UNPAD Graduate Schools, Student Certified Internship Programs, and Multifunction Student Identity Card (KTM) Cooperation, namely as Student Identity Card, Debit Card, BNI Tapcash and personal identity to carry out activities around the campus environment.
