Appreciation for Outstanding Athletes at Indonesia Masters 2023, BNI and PBSI Ready to Escort Chico and Friends to Badminton Asia Mixed Team in Dubai

Jakarta, Thursday (9/2/2023) -- The name Jonatan Christie has made Indonesia proud in the world badminton sporting event thanks to his title as the men's singles champion at the Indonesia Masters 2023. Not only Jojo, Jonatan's nickname, Chico Auro Dwi Wardoyo also managed to achieve achievements as runner-up Indonesia Masters 2023.

Not only that, from the men's doubles team, Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Marthin made a proud achievement by winning the Indonesia Masters 2023. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI as the official sponsor of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) gave appreciation to Indonesian outstanding athletes.

The appreciation was held during a hospitality and dinner event as well as the release of the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships Team at Menara BNI, Pejompongan, Jakarta, Wednesday (8/2/2023). The event was attended by BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar, PBSI Secretary General Fadil Imran, PBSI Daily Chairman Alex Tirta Darmadji, PBSI Deputy Chairman Eduart Wolok, BNI directors and management, Indonesia Masters 2023 Champion Jonatan Christie, Indonesia Masters 2023 Runner Up Chico Auro Dwi Wardoyo, Indonesia Masters 2023 Men's Doubles Champion Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, and Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships athletes and officials.

Royke conveyed that the BNI HI-Movers family felt the joy and excitement felt by the Indonesian badminton team.
"It is an appreciation dedicated to the proud athletes of Indonesia who have excelled in the Indonesia Masters 2023 event, as well as the preparation of the Indonesian team for the Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championship which will take place in Dubai, 14-19 February 2023," he said on Wednesday (8/2/2023).

Royke said, BNI is committed to continuing to support the development and coaching of badminton carried out by PBSI to continue to make further historic achievements."We are also grateful that BNI has been given the opportunity to contribute to the development of badminton in Indonesia," he said.

On the same occasion, Fadil appreciated BNI's steps and commitment to proactively allocate development funds for Indonesian badminton. "There is no single sector that can be big without funding. This doubt is answered by BNI. We thank the main sponsor BNI for their support to PBSI," he said.

On the other hand, Fadil said that BNI's support as an International Bank has so far helped PBSI to carve out the history of Indonesian badminton. “With this maximum support, PBSI hopes that Indonesian representatives can continue to make achievements," he said. (*)
