BNI Provides IDR20,000 Notes at 41 ATMs from Lampung to Papua

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI provides cash in IDR20,000 notes at Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) spread across 41 locations, most of which are located at Universities and Colleges throughout Indonesia.

BNI Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo said, that ATMs providing IDR20,000 notes are expected to meet the high enthusiasm of the public for exchanging small money ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2025.

"We are aware of the high demand for cash, especially the IDR20,000 notes as a tradition for Indonesian people to share with relatives and neighbors. Therefore, we ensure the availability of sufficient cash through distribution at ATMs, branch offices, and exchange services in various strategic locations," Okki said in a written statement.

As many as 22 of the 41 ATMs are located outside branch locations such as at the University of Lampung, the Gallery of Padjajaran University (Unpad) Jatinangor. Surabaya State University Lidah Wetan, Trisakti University, and the Gallery of Bogor Agricultural Institute.

In addition, BNI ATMs with IDR20,000 notes are also available at Soedirman University, the University of Indonesia Hall in Depok, Widyagama University in Malang, Tarumanegara University, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, and several places in Jayapura such as Cendrawasih University, Yapis University, and UNIMUDA Sorong.

In more detail, Okki added, of the 41 IDR20,000 note ATMs, 9 are in DKI Jakarta, 11 in West Java, 8 in East Java, and 3 each in Central Java and North Sulawesi, while the rest are spread across Banten, Lampung, South Kalimantan, and Papua.

"We also urge the public to plan their finances wisely and utilize digital transactions to ensure smooth activities during the Eid period," Okki emphasized.
