PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI continues to show its commitment to assisting customers in facing the challenges of a dynamic global economy. Through the Halalbihalal and Economic Outlook 2025 events in Solo City, BNI invited customers and business actors in Central Java to prepare for economic uncertainty through adaptive strategies and innovative financial solutions.
Carrying the theme "Breaking Frontiers, Conquering Uncertainties", this activity was held by BNI Treasury Regional Area (TRA) Semarang as part of an effort to strengthen partnerships with customers, especially in the Central Java region which is increasingly strategic economically.
BNI Treasury SEVP Ita Tetralastwati explained that this event is a collaborative space between BNI and customers in formulating more resilient business strategies. "We believe that by providing a comprehensive understanding of the direction of the economy and relevant financial solutions, we can help customers design more appropriate business steps amidst market dynamics," said Ita.
In the event, BNI Chief Economist Leo Putera Rinaldy explained about global and domestic economic projections, including geopolitical developments, interest rate trends, exchange rate movements, inflation, as well as opportunities and risks in the industrial sector. This session was a strategic provision for customers in determining the direction of future business policies.
BNI also held interactive discussions on various treasury products such as foreign exchange transactions, hedging, and money market services. Not only that, BNI also introduced digital innovations designed to improve the efficiency and resilience of corporate finance.
According to Ita, Central Java's economic growth in recent years has shown a positive trend, along with the development of industrial areas in Semarang, Kendal, Batang, and Solo Raya. Supported by increasingly adequate port and toll road infrastructure, this region has become a center for export-import activities and national industry.
This condition opens up a great opportunity for BNI to expand its contribution in supporting the business ecosystem through fundraising services, financing, treasury transactions, and integrated digital solutions.
"Through a forum like this, we hope to strengthen synergy with customers in Central Java and its surroundings, and provide real contributions in driving inclusive and sustainable national economic growth," Ita concluded.
With a proactive and solution-based approach, BNI is optimistic that it can become a strategic partner for the business world in facing the era of global economic uncertainty.
