BNI Wins 3 Awards from The Digital Banker, Affirming BNIdirect's Strategic Role

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI received three international awards from the 2025 Digital CX Awards event held by the independent publication institution The Digital Banker. The awards were presented to GM of BNI's Wholesale Digital Channel Division Efransyah Mudani and GM of BNI Wholesale Product & Partnership I Gede Widya Anantayoga at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Singapore, on Thursday (24/4/2025).

BNI won three awards, including Best Technology Implementation for Digital CX – Indonesia, Outstanding Digital CX – Trade Finance Initiative, and Best Wholesale/Transaction Bank for Digital CX – Indonesia. These three categories highlight BNI's excellence in presenting innovative, comprehensive, and customer-oriented digital solutions presented through BNIdirect innovation.

BNI Corporate Banking Director Agung Prabowo said that this achievement is real evidence of BNI's commitment to providing modern, integrated corporate banking services that are in accordance with the dynamics of current business needs.

"This award reflects BNI's dedication in creating digital solutions that support business growth. This solution has a positive impact on the efficiency and convenience of transactions for customers. This means that BNIdirect has become a strategic platform that supports our digital journey," said Agung.

The Digital Banker awarded BNI the Best Technology Implementation for Digital CX category thanks to its innovation in developing the BNIdirect API. This innovation made integration seamless with third-party systems. For information, throughout 2024, BNI launched various initiatives through new APIs and improved the sandbox environment. This step contributed to an increase in digital transaction volume of IDR 1,230 trillion or recorded a growth of 50.6% YoY.

For the Outstanding Digital CX – Trade Finance Initiative category, BNI is considered successful in presenting digital trade finance and bank guarantee services that can be flexibly accessed by customers, both domestically and abroad, anytime and anywhere.

Furthermore, the B*est Wholesale/Transaction Bank for Digital CX – Indonesia* award was given for BNI Wholesale Transaction Banking's capabilities in providing comprehensive solutions for corporations in managing cash flow, operations, and liquidity, treasury, payments, trade finance, and financing, efficiently through an integrated digital platform.

The Digital CX Awards 2025 event assesses financial institutions from various key aspects such as digital innovation, user experience, service personalization, and the effectiveness of the solutions offered in personalization.

We are also committed to continuing to provide services that are fast, safe, and in accordance with customer business needs. This is part of our efforts to become a strategic partner for the business world in the digital era," Agung explained.

Throughout 2024, BNI recorded a 23.2% year-on-year (YoY) growth in corporate and business segment transaction value, reaching IDR7,931 trillion as of December 2024. With this achievement, BNI is increasingly optimistic about driving sustainable growth in the corporate and business segments, while strengthening its position as a strategic partner in the national digital banking ecosystem.
