Highlight of Mudik Bareng BNI 2019, BNI Departed 11,343 Disabled Homecomers by BNI Bus

Jakarta, 1 June 2019 --- The highlight of Mudik Bareng BNI 2019 has arrived. After successfully holding the Islamic Boarding School students homecoming from Balaraja, Banten to Solo, Central Java on Sunday, 26 May 2019, homecoming from Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, as well as participating in the Mudik BUMN in Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta on Thursday, 30 May 2019, BNI held homecoming by bus from East Parking Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Saturday (31 May 2019). During Ramadhan, BNI departed a total 11,343 homecomers or around 13% higher from the initial target as many as 10,000 homecomers. Mudik Bareng BNI 2019 also a support to Joint Homecoming Program of SOEs Ministry.

Interestingly at the highlight of Mudik Bareng BNI 2019, BNI also dispatched disabled homecomers who have more limited access to public transportation facilities. Present to release thousands of bus homecomers at the event, the President Director of BNI, Achmad Baiquni and BNI's board of directors and commissioners.

Achmad Baiquni conveyed, the achievement of as many as 11,343 homecomers is a pride for BNI that has prepared this program with the theme “Let’s Fold the Goodness”. The theme becomes completed because the transportation needs of tens of thousands of homecomers, including disabled homecomers are met. The destinations for bus departures today are Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Purwokerto, Solo, Surabaya, Lampung, Palembang and Padang.

"Bus transportation mode do not only loyally serve homecomers from Jakarta and Balaraja, but also from Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Malang, and Makassar. In addition to transportation mode, goodness in the framework of welcoming Lebaran which will soon arrive, is conveyed to the homecomers by giving gifts containing snacks produced by MSME entrepreneurs who are active in SOEs Creative Home (RKB) fostered by BNI," said Baiquni.

Baiquni added that the high enthusiasm is a motivation for BNI to continue to provide not only the best banking products and services, but also the transportation mode for the needs of homecoming activities. BNI also provides homecomers with a tumbler to help reduce trash and help preserve the environment.
