PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, also took part in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia by presenting the "Ragam Cerita, Satu Bangsa Merdeka" wonderstage entertainment stage at the Jakarta Creative Zone, Dukuh Atas Cultural Park, on Sunday (17/8/2025).

The Wondrstage was one of the five main points in the series of People's Festival and Independence Carnival events held along the Monas route, Jalan MH Thamrin, Bundaran HI, and Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).

From afternoon until nite, visitors were treated to a variety of cross-generational musical entertainment, cultural festivals, and interactive activities that further enlivened the celebration.

A number of popular artists also performed to liven up the BNI wondrstage, including Happy Asmara, Laid This Nite, and Kelompok Pemuja Koplo (KPK), with Ayu Dewi and Oghel as hosts. This cross-generational collaboration reflected the timeless spirit of national unity.

BNI President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan stated that BNI's participation in the People's Festival is a concrete form of state-owned enterprises' contribution to strengthening unity and fostering national spirit.

"Through wondrstage, BNI aims to create a moment of togetherness that can strengthen community bonds while spreading optimism. This spirit aligns with our commitment to accompany every step of the Indonesian people toward a more advanced future," said Putrama.

In addition to musical entertainment, the wondrstage area featured a culinary festival involving local MSME entrepreneurs. The presence of these MSMEs not only added to the excitement but also opened up promotion opportunities and expanded their market reach.

The wondrstage area also featured folk competitions, interactive quizzes, and various exciting prizes. These diverse activities not only added to the festive atmosphere but also provided space for the community to participate directly in the independence celebrations.

As part of the carnival, a total of 32 decorative vehicles participated, including the iconic Danantara Indonesia car with a Golden Garuda design combined with cultural ornaments as a symbol of leadership, unity, and the vision of an Advanced Indonesia. At the front row, the figure of Godam was presented, symbolizing the nation's strength and the call to move forward together toward a resilient future.

The Danantara carnival float carried the message 'Garuda Danantara Indonesia: Soaring Indonesia Toward a Sustainable Future'. The head of the Golden Garuda symbolized courage, the curved Blue Path reflected dynamic energy and technology, while the Temple Ornament affirmed a foundation in local wisdom.

This procession was also followed by representatives from various Danantara Indonesia portfolio SOEs as a symbol of synergy and collaboration. Those present on the decorated vehicle were Rosan Roeslani (CEO), Dony Oskaria (COO), and Pandu Sjahrir (CIO).

Furthermore, Putrama added that BNI's participation in the People's Festival and Carnival is not only a form of support for the spirit of independence, but also a contribution to strengthening intergenerational togetherness and boosting the local economy.

"Through this active involvement, BNI is committed to continuously supporting the steps of the Indonesian government and people in realizing the vision for the 80th anniversary of independence, namely 'united, sovereign, and prosperous for the people' in order to create an advanced Indonesia," concluded Putrama.
