(23/10/2025) - A total of 27,300 runners from Indonesia and abroad are ready to enliven the wondr Jakarta Running Festival (JRF) 2025, an international marathon event initiated by PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) through the digital platform wondr by BNI, in collaboration with PT Kelompok Lari Anak Bangsa (KLAB). The event will take place at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Sport Complex in Jakarta on October 25–26, 2025.
Out of the total participants, over 1,000 foreign runners came from 48 countries, confirming JRF's position as a premier running destination in Southeast Asia. Promotional activities in major cities like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur also broadened the reach of the international running community eager to experience the running routes in the Indonesian capital.
BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that the wondr Jakarta Running Festival 2025 is an important momentum in encouraging the growth of sports tourism in Jakarta, as well as a real manifestation of BNI's commitment to supporting the healthy lifestyle of urban communities.
"This event is not just a running race, but also a festival that combines sports, entertainment, product exhibitions, and community activities to celebrate the spirit and positive energy of Jakarta," said Okki.
The Race Expo wondr JRF 2025 will feature over 100 national and international brands, supported by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, PB PASI, MRT Jakarta, and over 500 running communities and other strategic partners. "The enthusiasm of the participants shows that this event is increasingly recognized as a global sporting event that brings positive economic impact to the region," he added.

He added that this success will further enhance Jakarta's appeal as an international sports destination, as well as provide a memorable running experience for participants from various countries.
