BNI Prepares Limited Operations and Digital Channels During Long Holiday

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) ensures that banking services will remain operational during the Ascension Day 2026 holiday through limited operations at a number of branch offices and optimization of digital services that can be accessed 24 hours a day.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said the measure was taken to ensure smooth transactions for the public during the long holiday period in mid-May 2026.

"We are ensuring that our customers' transaction needs are met during the long holiday period through limited operational services at select outlets and 24/7 digital channel support. This is part of BNI's commitment to remain present and serve our customers wholeheartedly at every opportunity," Okki said in a written statement.

BNI will operate 16 outlets on a limited basis on Friday, May 15, 2026, with service hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time. Through these services, customers can still conduct a number of essential transactions, such as Pertamina fuel deposits, Bulog deposits, cash deposits, cash withdrawals, and transfers between BNI accounts with a maximum limit of IDR25 million per account per day.

Outside of branch services, BNI ensures that all digital channels remain operational during the holiday period. Customers can access various transaction services through the wondr by BNI app, BNIdirect, ATMs, and other electronic banking services.

According to Okki, strengthening digital services is a crucial part of the company's strategy to maintain customer convenience and transaction flexibility, particularly during national holidays when public mobility increases.

"We hope that our ongoing digital transformation will provide customers with comfort and convenience in conducting transactions anytime, anywhere, including during long holiday periods. BNI wants to ensure that our customers continue to feel the spirit of wholehearted service through the various service channels we offer," said Okki.

BNI also encourages customers to utilize digital services to facilitate more convenient and efficient transactions during the holiday period.
