BNI Won The Best Cash Management

Jakarta, 21 July 2020 --- Alpha South East once again awarded PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) as an innovative and best bank to manage the finances of business people through cash management services. With this achievement, BNI won the title "The Best Cash Management Bank in Indonesia-VA Debit Cardless Withdrawal" at the 14th Annual Best FI Awards 2020.

In Jakarta, Tuesday (21 July 2020), the Director of Institutional Relation of BNI, Sis Apik Wijayanto explained the award was given as BNI is considered to have succeeded in developing innovative solutions and facilitating corporate, institutional and fintech customers to settle payment obligations in a timely and accurate manner and facilitate disbursements through cardless withdrawal mechanism on BNI channel.

“Withdrawal of BNI Virtual Account (VA) Debit can be done through BNI channels among others ATMs & Tellers only by having Virtual Account number, without needing passbook and ATM card. As a validation when making a transaction a customer will receive an OTP via SMS to an active and registered mobile number. Other transactions that can be done are Virtual Account balance checking, cash withdrawals and overbooking to a BNI account,” Sis Apik explained.

Sis Apik added, that customers will perceive new experience when having transaction and using this Virtual Account, receiving fast refund. In addition, we also have ensured a smooth and safe system.

"The enthusiasm of customers for the convenience of BNI VA Debit also boosts the growth of BNI Cash Management transactions. This is evidenced by an increase in the number of BNI Cash Management transactions by 41% and transaction volume by 26% in 2019," Sis Apik said.

Sis Apik believes BNI VA Debit will be able to compete in the market because its integration is very easy with the customer system and will succeed in opening up Indonesian people's insights on digital technology that is easy to apply and able to create value chains and improve financial transactions through banking services.
