76th Anniversary, BNI Holds 5,476 HFLF Debtor Contracts

Tuesday, 28 June 2022 -- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. or BNI is consistent in reducing the national home backlog, especially in the Low-Income Community (LIC) segment. This bank with the stock code BBNI held a mass prosperous housing loan (HL) agreement for 5,476 debtors with a Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (HFLF) scheme.

The efforts to accelerate the fulfillment of commitments in distributing mortgages for low-income people are still included in the series of celebrations for BNI's 76th Anniversary. The implementation of the mass contract begins with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (CA) between subsidized housing developers and BNI.

On this occasion, a number of officials were present in person such as Deputy Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen, BNI Services and Networks Director, Ronny Venir, BNI Consumer Business Director, Corina Leyla Karnalies, Director General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, Herry Trisaputra Zuna, Director of Implementation of Housing Financing, Directorate General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing, Ministry of PUPR R. Haryo Bekti Martoyoedo.

Also witnessing the Commissioner of BP Tapera, Adi Setianto, Director of Distribution of FLPP BP TAPERA, Hari Sundjojo, Association of REI Developers, APERSI, HIMPERA, INDONESIAN DEVELOPMENT and APERNAS, Representatives of Bank Indonesia Central Java, and Representatives of OJK Central Java & DIY.

The signing of the Loan Agreement of KPR Sejahtera Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (HFLF) this time was held at the Ambarawa Railway Museum, Semarang Regency, Central Java, Tuesday (28/6/2022).

Herry said, there are still many low-income people who are not able to own a house. He hopes that banks as intermediary function holders will play an active role in facilitating mortgage needs in the context of reducing the national home backlog.

"We appreciate BNI being one of the most active SOEs in distributing mortgages in the low-income segment of society through the HFLF scheme. We hope that our proactive steps with BNI can continue to help in facilitating many young couples to own a house," he said.

On the occasion, Ronny Venir said that BNI as a development agent is proactive in distributing home loans to continue to help facilitate many young people to own houses.

This step is also an effort to accelerate national economic growth because there are more than 170 related derivative industries that will be excited along with the increasing performance of the property industry.

“We thank the government for giving BNI the opportunity to contribute to reducing the national home backlog. We also hope that more young couples can own houses,” he said.

Ronny said that BNI managed to absorb 17,045 debtors' HFLF worth Rp 1.87 trillion in 2021. "This year, BNI is committed to distributing 22,159 units which is equivalent to Rp 3.25 trillion with the signing of HFLF BNI Prosperous HL Distribution Agreement with BP TAPERA," he concluded.

Cooperation of BNI & Developer 

To increase the choice of housing, BNI also signed a mass Cooperation Agreement (CA) between Subsidized Home Developers and BNI. This collaboration was attended by 54 developers spread across BNI's operational areas.

As a form of appreciation, BNI also gave awards to Subsidized Home Developer partners and regional offices that have the highest contribution in distributing HFLF loans.

"Of course, as a state-owned bank, we don't just rely on government incentives. BNI is always proactive in seeking new sources of growth by cooperating with many partners, especially in the residential property sector," he said.

With the increase in BNI's digital services through the collaboration with SiKasep application (Housing Subsidized Mortgage Information System) it is easier for consumers to choose subsidized housing. The convenience of customers in applying for housing loans can be accessed through the online application (BNI E-Form) on BNI official website www.bni.co.id or via BNI Mobile application and supported by other transactional banking services.
