BNI Prepares IDR19.74 T of Cash to Ensure Convenient and Safe Transactions during Christmas and New Year

PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (Persero) or BNI provides IDR19.74 trillion in cash during the Christmas and New Year 2025 holiday period.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said, the provision of cash at a number of BNI ATMs is expected to facilitate customer transaction needs.

“We have anticipated an increase in the number of transactions at ATMs during the Christmas and New Year holiday season so that customers' cash needs can be well served,” Okki said in a press release.

BNI notes a number of outlets in limited operations, namely 23 outlets on December 26, 2024 which operate limited to 10:00-12:00 local time. Then as many as 21 outlets are operated limited on January 1, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 local time.

To ensure smooth transactions for people traveling on their hometown, BNI also operates 7 O-Branches or mobile bank services placed at 3 rest areas, 1 toll gate, 2 terminals and 1 main route.

Previously, BNI had announced that the International Remittance Transaction Service would not operate on the Christmas and Collective Leave holidays which fell on Wednesday and Thursday, December 25-26, 2024, and the New Year's holiday on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Okki continued, BNI continues to ensure that services to the public are not hampered during the Christmas celebration and holiday to welcome the new year 2024-2025. Customers can still easily access banking services through various available digital channels, such as BNI Mobile Banking, BNI Internet Banking, wondr by BNI and BNI ATMs as well as 24-hour call center services 1500046.

“In this way, people can carry out various banking transactions, from balance checks, transfers, to bill payments, without worrying about being hampered during the Christmas and New Year holidays,” continued Okki.

Through this step, BNI not only ensures customer convenience in transactions, but also supports the smooth celebration of Christmas and New Year.
