PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is further strengthening its commitment to encouraging the growth of young investors in Indonesia. Through its subsidiary, BNI Sekuritas, the company officially launched the New BIONS application, a digital investment platform designed to make it easier for the younger generation to manage various investment instruments wisely and responsibly.
BNI Wealth Management SEVP Steven Suryana explained that this application is the main driver in the development of wealth management services that are relevant to today's digital lifestyle.
"The presence of New BIONS has a positive impact on the BNI Group financial ecosystem. Customers can now transact stocks, bonds, and mutual funds easily in one application. This is certainly an added value to expand the reach of investors, especially among young people," said Steven in a written statement.
Steven also emphasized that this innovation is in line with the target of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which wants to add two million new investors throughout 2025. With complete features and a user-friendly interface, New BIONS is expected to attract the interest of the younger generation to start investing.
The launch of New BIONS is also part of BNI's strategy to strengthen the synergy of the BNI Group's financial ecosystem, while also answering customer needs for practical, integrated, and user-friendly investment services.
As part of the launch campaign, BNI Securities also held BIONS Cuanpionship #4, an annual stock trading competition that is back with two main categories, namely, Legendary Class and Victory Class. This competition is open to all BNI Securities customers and is an educational and competitive event to encourage financial literacy in the community.
