PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, has introduced the Life Goals feature on the wondr by BNI app to help customers plan for their long-term financial needs, including saving for the Hajj in a more structured and focused manner.

This feature allows customers to set savings goals based on specific financial objectives, such as “Hajj Savings,” complete with settings for regular deposit amounts and time frames tailored to each customer's financial capacity.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo said that this innovation is part of the company’s commitment to providing financial solutions that meet the public’s needs, particularly in preparing for the Hajj, which requires careful planning.

“Through the Life Goals feature on wondr by BNI, we aim to help customers plan their financial goals in a more structured way, including fulfilling their dream of performing the Hajj,” Okki said in a written statement.

According to Okki, the Hajj is not only a spiritual journey but also requires financial preparation that must be planned well in advance. The high cost of the Hajj and the long waiting period for departure make financial planning a crucial aspect for prospective pilgrims.

Through the Life Goals feature, customers can track their savings progress transparently via the integrated system in the wondr by BNI app. What's more, this feature includes financial simulations and estimates to help users create more realistic plans that align with their goals.

BNI believes that this digital approach can encourage consistent and gradual saving habits, enabling customers to achieve their long-term financial goals without placing an excessive burden on them.
