24/08/2024. PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI successfully supported the BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament Asian Development Tour 2024.
The international class golf tournament in collaboration with Ciputra Group ended successfully, attended by 150 athletes from 24 countries who had competed since round 1 on August 21, 2024.
The tournament ended with a Closing Ceremony and the presentation of prizes to the winners of BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur 2024 which was held at Damai Indah Golf, BSD, Tangerang, Saturday (24/8/2024).
Coming out as the best was Liu Yung Hua from Chinese Taipei, then in the Best Indonesian Amateur category it was won by Jonathan Hartono and finally as the Best Indonesian Professional it was won by Jonathan Wijono from Indonesia.
Present at the award ceremony were BNI Director of Human Capital and Compliance Mucharom, Managing Director of Ciputra Group and Founder of Ciputra Golfpreneur Foundation Budiarsa Sastrawinata, Senior Director of Ciputra Group Agussurja Widjaja, Chairman of Asian Tour Jimmy Masrin, Chairman PGA Tour of Indonesia Agus Triyono, General Secretary of Indonesia Golf Association Suharsono, dan Director of Damai Indah Golf Christine Wiradinata.
In his remarks, Mucharom said that the BNI Golfpreneur Tournament Asian Development Tour 2024 was the third year of BNI's participation in one of the prestigious golf events that is in the spotlight of world-class golfers.
"We would like to express our gratitude and we are proud of the opportunity given to BNI to be involved again as the title sponsor in the third year of this tournament," he said.
Mucharom noted that this year's deployment of BNI Golfpreneur 2024 coincided with the debut of BNI's wondr. This BNI Super Apps program is intended to help customers perform transactions and manage their funds more efficiently. This App has numerous outstanding features and is marketed with the phrase 'wondr by BNI, Jadiin Maumu'.
Through this support, BNI will continue to encourage Indonesian professional golfers to improve their abilities so they can compete on the global stage.
