BNI Gandeng Agung Podomoro, Salurkan Pembiayaan Kios

BNI Collaborates with Agung Podomoro to Distribute Kiosk Financing

Jakarta, 26 January 2016 - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) collaborated with established property developer Agung Podomoro Group to distribute productive loan facility, including KUR (Kredit Usaha Rakyat/Public Entrepreneurial Loan) to finance Store Ownership. The agreement between two business entities is worth more than Rp 3 trillion, of which Rp 75 billion will be allocated towards potential KUR retail distribution.

The signing between BNI and Agung Podomoro took place in Jakarta, on Tuesday (26 January 2016), and attended by BNI Retail Business Director Sutanto.

Sutanto explained that the cooperation is a reflection of BNI’s support for government programs that push for financing expansion into the property sector in order to facilitate aspiring entrepreneurs to purchase his/her own kiosk. BNI KUR financing for kiosk ownership offers a low interest rate of 9%.

Through the cooperation agreement, BNI will distribute financing through eight Agung Podomoro Group subsidiary companies, which are Melawai Jaya Realty, Putra Pratama Sukses, Caturmas Karsaudara, Jakarta Realty, Citra Gemilang Nusantara, Pandega Citraniaga, Cakrawira Bumimandala, and Mandiri Dipta Cipta.

According to Sutanto, BNI distributed KUR for four months for a total of Rp 3.04 trillion or 95% of the targeted Rp 3.2 trillion in 2015. Based on its 2015 earnings, BNI believes that it can double its KUR distribution in 2016, or an average of Rp 900 billion to Rp 1 trillion per month, for KUR Retail, KUR Micro, and KUR TKI. BNI will focus on KUR Retail due to the service’s better capabilities.

“We are optimistic that in 2016, we will reach our set target, one of which is by maximizing 111 special outlets for small loan centers all across Indonesia. BNI strategy for KUR Retail distribution thus far involves one-on-one distribution, while KUR Micro is distributed through collaboration with several supply chain clients, such as Lotte Wholesale and several farms,” added Sutanto.
