Malang, 27 July 2020 --- PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI and Universitas Negeri Malang or UM signed a Cooperation Agreement on Opening Service of Debit Card-Based Cooperation Current Account. This Cooperation Current Account Service is one form of BNI’s supports to Universitas Negeri Malang especially in research funds distribution at the Research Institute and Community Services (LP2M).
This service makes it easy for research lecturers to conduct transactions related to research in all BNI channels. The transaction facility uses debit card based on a cooperation account, so that it can be monitored by Rectorate, especially in terms of monitoring the funds absorption quality of the research lecturers.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was conducted in Malang, East Java, Monday (27 July 2020) by the Rector of Universitas Negeri Malang, AH Rofi'uddin and the Head of BNI Region of Malang Regional Office, Beby Lolita Indriani. The event was witnessed by the Director of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of BNI, Tambok P. Setyawati virtually from Jakarta.
In addition to the signing of the cooperation, BNI also provided a LED Videotron facility to UM. This LED is the second gift, after the previous year was given to a different point. This facility is a means of information that can be felt for the entire academic community and for the community around the campus.
In the framework of BNI Berbagi Program, BNI together with UM distributed assistance in the form of food packages for people who are in the campus environment and for campus basic employees.
“This assistance is a form of concern for the economically affected communities during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With this partnership, it is hoped that in the future BNI can always provide support to UM in order to advance and improve the quality of education in Indonesia," Tambok P. Setyawati said.Â
