1,946 BNI Mortgage Agreements Signed Simultaneously, 146 Developers Coupled with BNI

Surabaya, March 23, 2019 – Having a home is a basic necessity and getting the desired home creates happiness for everyone. It has also been the pride of BNI which has gained the trust to help finance the ownership of houses.

Repeating the success of the previous mass contract that was implemented by BNI in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on September 26 2018, BNI initiated the signing of 1,946 home loan agreements (KPR) simultaneously in 86 cities throughout Indonesia. The highlight of the mass credit contract event was centered at the Submarine Monument, Surabaya, Saturday (March 23, 2019).

Present to witness the mass signing was BNI Retail Banking Director Tambok P Setyawati, BNI Risk Management Director Bob Tyasika Ananta, Director General of Public Works and Housing Infrastructure Financing Eko D Heri Poerwanto, Managing Director of the Central Housing Finance Fund Management (PPDPP) Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Kemenpupera) Budi Hartono.

Tambok stated that in addition to Surabaya, there were 85 other cities that were the locations for the signing of the mass credit contract, namely Medan, Padang Sidempuan, Pemantang Siantar, Tanjung Balai Asahan, Tebing Tinggi, Kabanjahe, Pekanbaru, Bukittinggi, Dumai, Padang, Payakumbuh, Rengat, Solok, Tg. BalaiKarimun, Tg. Pinang, Bangko, Baturaja, Bengkulu, Jambi, Kotabumi, Kuala Tungkal, Lubuk Linggau, Muara Bungo, Palembang, Pangkal Pinang, Prabumulih, Metro, Kayu Agung, and Tanjung Karang. Other cities are Cianjur, Jepara, Semarang, Tegal, Bojonegoro, Jombang, Mojokerto, Pamekasan, Ambon, Bau-Bau, Bulukumba, Kendari, Makassar, Mamuju, Palopo, Pare-Pare, Polewali, Sengkang, Bima, Mataram, Balikpapan, Banjarbaru, Banjarmasin, Barabai, Bontang, Ketapang, Kotabaru Pulau Laut, Kuala Kapuas, Muara Teweh, Nunukan, Palangkaraya, Pangkalanbun, Pontianak, Samarinda, Sambas, Sampit, Singkawang, Sintang, and Tarakan. The same program was also carried out in Gorontalo, Kotamobagu, Luwuk, Manado, Palu, Tahuna, Bitung, Jakarta, Serang, Bekasi, Kerawang, Biak, Jayapura, Manokwari, Merauke, Sorong, Cilacap, Magelang, Purwokerto, Solo, Yogya, Wonosobo, Purbalingga, Jember, Kediri, Madiun, Ponorogo and Situbondo.

"BNI remains optimistic in channeling more credit until the end of 2019. In addition, BNI also offers easy cashless down payments through mobile banking, sms banking and internet banking. The convenience is BNI's step in building a cashless society and digitalization," said Tambok.

BNI also invites new homeowners to use BNI's reliable digital banking / e-channel services, namely Mobile Banking. BNI's Mobile Banking services can be used, among other things, for monthly routine payments such as PLN (State Electricity Enterprise), PDAM (Water Supply Company), PBB (Land and Building Tax) and also monthly complex fees (in some housing projects that have collaborated with BNI with complex managers or developers). BNI Griya for Millennials

In addition to the prosperous mortgage debtors who have utilized the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP), the mass credit contract is also carried out for BNI Griya debtors who are included in the millennial generation. This application can be accessed through the website www.bni.co.id or through the BNI Mobile Banking application.

Tambok added, the presence of the BNI Griya e-Form is a presentation from BNI to the general public who want to apply for a mortgage easily. Moreover, the millennial segment is highly dependent on their gadgets.

In addition, as a manifestation of BNI's commitment to support the one million home program, BNI has also distributed the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP) Prosperous Mortgage program from the Central for Housing Finance Fund Management (PPDPP) Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The Housing Finance Liquidity Facility mortgages with very low interest rates of 5% until the credit tenor is completed greatly helps Low-Income Communities obtain homes.
